This week’s What I Wore Wednesday features my revelation shirt. Let me explain.
After Christmas, I did a quick round in the sales and popped in to Samsøe & Samsøe, a shop that I’ve always avoided before because I assumed that, since it is Danish, it would be expensive. But I had seen a skirt in the window a few weeks before and I wanted to see if it was on sale.
In the end, the skirt was nowhere to be found but I spotted an off-white silk shirt that I liked the look of. I braced myself and took a peek at the price label. And I was pleasantly surprised. A little more expensive than Zara but less than Club Monaco. Around Massimo Dutti prices, really. A revelation, indeed.
So I snapped it up. And now I have a whole new store in which to browse.

Shirt: Samsøe & Samsøe (not on sale here though, oddly enough)
Trousers: ASOS (old)
Necklaces: Glitter
I really, really love these leopard-print shoes. They are actually quite comfy, believe it or not and they work brilliantly with an otherwise plain outfit such as this. I bought them a few months ago from Rizzo and presumably they have been popular as they are still there and did not go into the sale. I can understand why.
